About the Artist
Meet Becky Potter:
Artist, winemaker, and devoted to the art of romancing the everyday.
Artist Statement
I believe beauty matters.
In a world that often moves too quickly, I paint as an invitation to slow down—to notice the flowers gathered in a vase, a bumble bee resting on a flower petal, and the joy found in an ordinary day.
As both an artist and a winemaker living in Oregon's Dundee Hills, I spend much of my life immersed in creation. The changing seasons, the abundance of the garden, and the quiet rhythms of vineyard life continually inspire my work. Through bold florals and richly layered abstracts, I seek to capture not only what I see, but what I feel: gratitude, wonder, hope, and the deep comfort of beauty.
My paintings are created through layers of texture, color, and often touches of gold or copper leaf, reflecting the richness and complexity found in both nature and life itself. Each piece is painted slowly and intentionally, allowing the work to evolve organically.
My faith also shapes everything I create. I believe that all beauty originates with the Creator, and my work is, in many ways, a response of gratitude—a celebration of the goodness and abundance woven throughout creation.
Ultimately, my hope is that my paintings bring joy, peace, and a sense of wonder into the spaces they inhabit. I want them to remind us that there is beauty to be found in the everyday and to encourage us all to romance the day-to-day.

Artist Biography
Becky Potter is an Oregon-based artist and winemaker whose work celebrates the beauty found in everyday moments. Working from her studio in the Dundee Hills of Oregon's Willamette Valley, she creates bold floral paintings and richly textured abstracts inspired by the changing seasons, abundant gardens, and the quiet rhythms of vineyard life.
A graduate of the Milan Art Institute Mastery Program, Becky paints with a deep appreciation for color, texture, and the natural world. Her work often incorporates layered surfaces and touches of gold and copper leaf, creating paintings that feel both contemporary and timeless.
Her artistic philosophy is rooted in the belief that beauty matters and that art can invite us to slow down, notice, and "romance the day-to-day." As a woman of faith, she views painting as a response of gratitude to the Creator and hopes her work brings joy, peace, and wonder into the homes where it resides.
Becky's work has been recognized with Best in Show honors at the Clackamas County Fair and is held in private collections throughout the United States.
When she isn't painting, she can often be found with her family, or tending the vineyard and gardens at her family's winery, where much of her inspiration begins.
